The secret of success
One of the secrets of the success of Lenzing Modal® is the raw material. At Lenzing, cellulose is specially extracted from beech wood for the production of Lenzing Modal® and further processed at the factory. This is unique in the fiber industry. Lenzing produces its own pulp and has control of the overall production process – from wood to fiber. The raw material used, beech wood, contributes enormously towards the quality of Lenzing Modal® and many of the characteristic properties that make the fiber so exquisite.
