Ultra fine is ultra soft
Lenzing Modal® makes everything softer. The special fibers, MicroModal® and MicroModal® AIR, are even softer since they are extremely fine. The finer the fiber, the softer the textiles become. Thus MicroModal® possesses the ultimate softness factor if the Lenzing Modal® types are compared with each other or with cotton. MicroModal® AIR has a softness factor four times higher than cotton*.
Top softness factor
Softness is expressed by the bending stiffness of textiles. This comprises the drape, hand, suppleness and creasing behavior. Excellent values can be attained thanks to the low fiber rigidity of Lenzing Modal®.
