Transparency and fair behavior

Lenzing AG shares are publicly traded on the Prime Market, the highest quality class on the Vienna Stock Exchange. This listing imposes a series of stringent requirements with respect to transparency and fair behavior towards shareholders and the public. Even if Lenzing complies with these principles on its own accord, it goes without saying that we will respect the relevant standards in the daily behavior of all employees and executives and to act accordingly. Every violation is subject to appropriate sanctions.

In addition to legal regulations and directives, the Austrian Corporate Governance Code (ÖCGK) in the January 2018 version provides a comprehensive framework for the management and supervision of publicly listed companies. The code pursues the objective of ensuring a responsible management and control oriented to the sustainable and long-term creation of value. The code creates a high level of transparency for all stakeholders of the company.

We stand unreservedly and firmly behind the principles of good corporate governance and have committed ourselves to fully complying with the stipulations of the Austrian Corporate Governance Code. The code contains rules based on binding legal regulations (L Rules) as well as rules based on standard international requirements (Comply or Explain) and rules which serve as recommendations (R Rules). Lenzing AG fully meets all the requirements laid down in these categories of rules.
