VEOCEL™ Lyocell fibers have earned a strong reputation for their environmentally responsible production process. Derived from wood pulp, the fibers are manufactured using a highly resource-efficient closed-loop process designed to minimize environmental impact. During the solvent-spinning process, water is treated and purified, and more than 99% of the solvent is recovered and reused.⁴,⁵

Liquid management
The inherent properties of cellulosic fibers naturally regulate liquid absorption and release. This leads to a uniform distribution of the liquid within the fibers and by extension the personal care products made from them, offering effective care and ultimately greater comfort for your skin.
Wood-based
VEOCEL™ fibers are derived from renewable wood sources⁶,⁷ and subsequently processed into fibers. VEOCEL™ fibers bring the inherent advantages of cellulose to personal care and hygiene products: natural absorbency, liquid distribution, biodegradability⁸,⁹ and versatility.
Biodegradability
Derived from the natural raw material – wood²,⁶ VEOCEL™ fibers are biodegradable in soil, freshwater and marine conditions and compostable under industrial and home conditions, and can fully return to nature.⁷,⁹
Gentle on skin
VEOCEL™ Lyocell fibers are gentle on skin and naturally smooth, providing comfort for skin.
