Purpose & key responsibilities of the role
- Guide the spinners (Existing & New) to set the process and achieve best quality with highest efficiency (Special focus lyocell STD & EV, EV Black).
- Ownership of dedicated product/application development projects (fiber, yarn, fabric) in alignment with Sales, BD, global segment heads and global technical marketing (targeted at driving sales volume and price achievement)
- Effective prevention and resolution of customer complaints.
- Knowledge and market insight partner for internal stakeholders (BD, Sales, Marketing, Global Segments); e.g., regular technical trainings, technical recommendations, market updates, “voice the customer”.
- Regular feedback to global site responsible and global functions on all aspects related to fiber quality and customer feedback.
- Strong interface with global technical functions (e.g. technical marketing, site TCS, global TCS, Quality, R&D, etc.).
Our expectations for this exciting role
- At least a bachelor's degree in Textiles
- Minimum 5 - 7 years of experience in Textile Industry, Spinning (ring, MVS system).
- Business & Product Development expertise - concept to commercial establishment with timelines.
- Good communication skills with customers in English and local language.
- Should have excellent know how for local market – spinning, weaving/knitting.
- Understanding of potential opportunities in local market with techno-commercial approach.
- Should have adequate knowledge on fiber /yarn /fabric costing and developing suitable product ranges.
- Developing and maintaining strong productive relationships at key decision makers/ influencers at Supply chains. (Key Accounts identification & Management)
- Pragmatic and dynamic result-oriented approach with focus on final target, Team player & Motivator.
- Job involves local travel and candidate having such exposure are preferred.
