Thanks to the Eco Disperse technology, moist toilet paper made of VEOCEL™ Lyocell fibers can be flushed down the toilet without hesitation.

Our VEOCEL™ Lyocell fibers with the Eco Disperse technology are strong enough when used appropriately, disperse evenly after flushing and naturally disintegrate. These fiber properties have been verifiably tested. Products containing these fibers are permitted to be labelled as “flushable”.

The VEOCEL™ Lyocell fibers produced on the basis of the Micro technology are characterised by their fine yarn thickness, known as titer, The Micro technology enables the manufacturing of very smooth nonwovens and offers a higher tenacity at the same time. The resulting light nonwovens feature a high level of opacity and a good tensile strength as well.

Thanks to the Translucency technology, our VEOCEL™ Lyocell fibers are translucent in a wet state. Fibers with this property are primarily used in the beauty care segment. This is due to the fact that as a base material it enables the production of hydrating facial sheet masks, to name one example. Moreover, VEOCEL™ Lyocell fibers with the Translucency technology are used in facial cleansing wipes and deodorant wipes.

Normally, Lenzing fibers are produced in the color white. However, the Eco Color technology gives us the possibility to already dye our VEOCEL™ Specialty Viscose fibers in vibrant colors during the production process. In this case, color pigments are deeply embedded into the fibers.

This flexibility in design replaces the more resource-draining, conventional dyeing process for our direct customers. The integration of dyeing in the production process saves energy and water, thus significantly reducing the environmental impact.

The manufacturing of VEOCEL™ Specialty Viscose fibers with the Eco Care technology generates up to 50% lower emissions and water impact compared to generic viscose.

Our Eco Care technology thus upgrades VEOCEL™ Specialty Viscose fibers to a higher sustainability standard. It enables us to produce viscose fibers which have less of an impact on nature throughout their entire life cycle than generic viscose fibers. Welcome to the green future!

The innovative Quat Release technology makes it possible to use VEOCEL™ Lyocell fibers of botanic origin in cleaning and disinfectant wet wipes in combination with disinfectant lotions.

These types of lotions are so-called quaternary ammonium compounds, in short “quats”. Quats bind to the surface of the cellulose fibers and are thus not released as a disinfectant in the lotion.  

Thanks to the Quat Release technology, the properties of the Quat release are substantially improved due to the reduction of the binding of the Quats to the surface of the fibers. Similarly, the special properties of cellulose such as sustainability and biodegradability are maintained.

Nature inside, dry outside: this characterizes the Dry technology applied used in our VEOCEL™ Lyocell fibers. Whether the fibers are used for feminine hygiene products, baby diapers and adult incontinence products, the VEOCEL™ Lyocell fibers featuring the Dry technology comprise a reliable and environmentally friendly choice for highly absorbent hygienic products.

The high level of comfort and pleasant wearing comfort of hygienic products featuring VEOCEL™ Lyocell fibers with the Dry technology are ensured, both in a dry state as well as in a wet state.
