Global Lyocell Technologist (m/f/d)

Purpose & key responsibilities of the role:

  • Lead feasibility studies and support pre-basic engineering activities as well as support of preparation of process books
  • Conduct technology benchmarking amongst the lyocell production sites in cooperation with local experts
  • Find best practices and define standards for technological processes and standard operation procedures
  • Support start up activities and define operational set points
  • Analyze organizational, technical and process problems and develop possible solutions applying continuous improvement methods
  • Perform site trainings to improve work processes
  • Local assistance of sites

Our expectations for this exciting role:

  • University degree (Chemistry or process engineering)
  • Ideally expertise in technologies which are used in lyocell fiber production including appended processes
  • High degree of interest in process optimization and technology development
  • Project Management skills
  • Experience in intercultural cooperation
  • Very good communication skills
  • English C1

The gross salary for this position according to the collective agreement in the chemical industry is € 60.000,- to 74.000,- with the willingness to overpay depending on qualifications and experience.
