What You’ll Do

• Team Leadership: Manage and develop the laboratory team, ensuring efficient daily operations and high-quality output.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with all Lenzing Group standards for quality, including ISO 9001 system management and internal audits.
• Testing and Analysis: Oversee the testing of finished products and process parameters, ensuring timely and accurate data transfer to QM, production, and classification.
• Equipment Management: Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring all tools are in optimal working condition.
• Training and Safety: Train the lab team on specialized equipment usage and safe lab practices, while maintaining health and safety standards within the laboratory.
• Inventory Management: Track inventory and procure laboratory consumables and equipment as needed.
• Support and Coordination: Assist the Quality Manager with preventive and corrective quality actions, support customer issue resolution, and participate in plant modifications and MOC reviews.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in natural science.
• Experience: At least 8 years of relevant experience in quality and laboratory management.
• Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English (C1/C2 level).
  • Strong leadership and teamwork abilities, capable of developing trust and respect within the team.
  • Flexibility to adapt in a dynamic environment, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
