Purpose & key responsibilities of the role
For this role, we are seeking an experienced manager, ideally with a background in the chemicals or manufacturing industry, driven by a passion for commercial and business challenges. Your experience in consulting, strategy, or in-house project management roles has honed your ability to deliver transformative commercial initiatives.
- You will design and implement Commercial Excellence programs to enhance value-based selling practices.
- You will develop strategies to target customers by industry, needs, and profitability to optimize commercial efforts.
- You will lead projects to enhance sales effectiveness, collaborating closely with business unit teams in Textile and Nonwovens.
- You will ensure standardized and user-friendly sales reporting that facilitates effective decision-making.
- You will drive the ongoing development and adoption of new or improved sales management tools and processes.
Our expectations for this exciting role
- You have a degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field along with several years of experience in sales, strategy, or project management.
- You are keen on driving change and implementing business and process improvements.
- You have a strong understanding of commercial and sales processes, methodologies and tools. You are responsible and proactive with a strong sense of ownership and a self-driven mindset.
- You are proficient in data analytics, sales reporting and dashboards to enhance decision-making.
- You have hands-on experience in managing diverse, international, cross-functional teams
- You are an outstanding communicator – spoken, written, and in presentations – with an ability to foster strong relationships with multiple cross-functional teams. You have professional English skills and German will be beneficial.

The gross salary for this position according to the collective agreement in the chemical industry is € 78.400,- with the willingness to overpay depending on qualifications and experience.
