Purpose & key responsibilities of the role

  • In this role, you will grow and diversify Lenzing’s Specialty business, delivering strategy targets and creating sustainable market entries for Lenzing’s fibers in Specialty Applications
  • You will be responsible for managing Customer technical relationships along the supply chain in order to build/secure sales of Lenzing fibers for Specialty Applications (e.g. Filtration, Electrical Separator, Carbonization, Medical) and Emerging segments with a special focus on Packaging Application, maintaining existing Industrial business with Technical Marketing
  • Through understanding and review of the market structure, you will identify key customer needs and new market and business opportunities, providing market and value chain analysis
  • As a key influencer of R&D projects, you will generate ideas to develop new materials and applications benefit package
  • You will be a key technical interface with manufacturing to establish optimal product specification/quality
  • You will provide specialist technical and commercial marketing development/customer service to assist in the introduction of new materials and solutions


Our expectations for this exciting role

  • You bring at least 6 years’ experience in customer facing roles with exposure to technical aspects of nonwoven production
  • You hold a relevant technical University Degree, additional Commercial education is a plus
  • You have strong experience in hunting new markets to develop new business opportunities, establishing first contact with potential customers, pricing the product in order to achieve the best added value and the highest profit/CM
  • You have a convincing approach to customer relationship management, excellent organizational skills, hands-on mentality and problem-solving abilities
  • You are a creative thinker who is able to translate customer needs and market trends into action plans to deliver innovative solutions
  • You are a team player with strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • You are able to work remotely and travel as required

The monthly gross salary for this position is according to collective agreement in the chemical industry based on 38 working hours/week at least EUR 4200.- with a willingness to overpay – depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally you will also take part in the Lenzing bonus system. We offer flexible working time and remote working options.
