A message for our children

Astonished children's eyes. Small, curious hands exploring their environment. Boundless lightheartedness. Breathtaking natural scenery just waiting to be discovered. All this is what we wish for our little ones. But will they be able to look forward to a carefree future? Because we treat our planet as if we had a second one up our sleeve. What fears and worries will our children grow up with? Do they have a chance for a carefree tomorrow?

Our children are the living symbol of sustainability – they are our future. They, too, should have the chance of an intact environment like the one we experienced. Therefore, the time has come for us to stand up and make a difference: At Lenzing, we are committed to sustainable production and preserving the environment. Using wood as a natural raw material, we have been creating innovative solutions for the protection of our planet for more than 80 years, putting our mission into practice. Our employees also made their most fervent wishes for their children. At Lenzing, they have the opportunity to make their contribution and work every day towards a world worth living in for our descendants. This fills them with pride and motivates them again and again. Together, we are on the right path to the future. We stand for all of this with our campaign: #ALetterToAChild.

Alexandra to her unborn daughter

Alexandra is in joyful expectation of her baby. Despite the exciting time, she is already worried about its future. Climate change and pollution are advancing steadily. Like any mother, she wants the best for her child. In her job at Lenzing, Alexandra is already doing her part for a better environment.

Krishna to his daughter

Krishna worries about the future of his little daughter and wonders what challenges she will face. In his letter he tells her about the small and big wonders of this world and his hope that we can improve our planet a little bit with cohesion and optimism.

Daniel to his son

Elias loves nature and explores his environment with sparkling eyes. His dad wants nothing more for him than a carefree future and the chance to live a carefree life. Daniel is firmly convinced that his son will one day take care of the planet and contribute to a positive change. Just like he did at Lenzing.

Michaela to her children

Paul and Greta are Michaela's greatest pride. When she thinks about the future of her two bundles of energy, her heart sometimes sinks a little. For her, the time has come for something to change. In her letter to them, she encourages her children to look at the world with open eyes.

Sylvia to her granddaughters

Silvia loves her granddaughters more than anything. However, she is saddened by the uncertainty surrounding their future. But the brightness and strength of her grandchildren gives her hope for a world worth living in. Sylvia is sure that both of them will make their contribution to a better environment. At Lenzing, she sets a good example.
